Dead Addresses
Dead Addresses
Or addresses of the dead works too. Was looking through this knick knack drawer in my kitchen. Attached to the side I noticed was an index card with the address and phone number of my Grandmother's children. The address for Jerry (my father) is Shreveport Louisiana. So we know this was written between the years of 1960 and 1970. The address for Maxwell (uncle Paul) was in Corpus Christi. He and his family moved back to Houston a few years before we did so if anyone knows the date we can narrow down when this card was written even further. Aunt Marcille's address is New York. It doesn't list Aunt Jeanne, but I think they always lived in Houston. At least until they went out to West Texas about 10 years ago. Everyone was sure spread for out for a while. But then eventually everyone came home.

ENJOY! :) is was always personal, it does not matter what subject or object the photographer pursues or where he / she finds inspiration. The look at it in a fresh unbiased way is maybe difficult, but after all the work of a photographer is always nearest to his own heart, when this heart suddenly sees sees through the lens, the eye sees clearly the lines which are often overlooked in our busy and sometimes oh so confirming world, after-all photography is personal and how we look at it, is how we understand, feel or even see it..........need I say more?
