This picture was taken inside the Empire Motel that we stayed in (1985). The motel was just across the street from the Rockwell plant where they were building the space shuttle. Many astronauts stayed at this motel... just look at the autographed pictures on the wall.

I'd never stayed at home. J has--on the road. This one was perfectly fine. Refurbished in sort of a pseudo-European style. We'd definitely stay here again.
