On 10.08.2011 Jay would have been 59 years old. Of course, I would have had to tease him mercilessly that he was now an a old man. In reality, he wasn’t an old man when he died at 55, nor would he have been an old man at 59. I created this image as my birthday gift to him. I am wearing one of his favorite “gig” shirts. Some things I just couldn’t give away! His life, though short, was one of joy. He loved life and would get excited about absolutely everything. Here I am giving him a little piece of my heart, but that is silly isn’t it as he will always have a piece of my heart. I have recently dipped my big toe ever so lightly into the world of dating. I have even ventured into the world of internet dating, which can be scary, humorous, tedious and at times fun. It may even create a new business for me “creating profile pictures” as God knows I certainly could shoot better profile pictures than some that I have seen. Really? You think posing bare chested holding a beer is really going to attract the ladies? Or, cropping the image so we can’t see the ex, but we know she was there in the picture with you, really? you think that will get you a date? Or how about that out of focus picture? But, I digress...... Grief is not an easy journey. I would not recommend it to anyone. In fact, making a new life without my Jay is the hardest thing I have ever done, but I have grown in so many ways on this journey. I now realize the true love of all of my friends. My heart grows each every day, and I now know that although a big chunk of my heart was devastated by the evil that is cancer, there is an ever growing place in my heart for the living. So come, this Saturday, on what should have been his 59th birthday, raise a glass to my Jay and let him know I’m gonna be okay. My images are posted here for your enjoyment only. Shabby Chic 9 Piece Guitar Set
Shabby Chic 9 Piece Guitar Set
Shabby Chic Guitar Set I've never created anything like this before - a NINE piece guitar set created for versatility. The guitar animation can be used sitting or standing, and its built into the guitar. But if you want to be stable and give a concert - there is also a poseball you can hop on which will keep your avatar steady. It comes with a case that opens and closes, your guitar fits nicely inside. IT comes with a second case with a tip jar script in it. All you have to do is set down your tip jar case and pick up your guitar and your ready to work. The Tip Jar Case already has some starter money in the bottom. It comes with two speakers, and two microphones, one for you, and one for the guitar. You can modify them so they fit you just right. There is also a music stand with music, and a pencil - feel free to change the music - the stand is modifiable. I'm making this a low low price of 600 Lindens - its all transfer - so feel free to buy it for a friend or a gift.
