Welcome

Building Academic Integrity contains material, information and resources gathered as part of an Academic Integrity project funded by the Office for Learning and Teaching (OLT) in 2012. We invite you to use the resources in your teaching practice.

We also hope you can join our community of practice in MERLOT (Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching) which contains links to a collection of project resources including this website. We invite you to comment on resources and the ways you use them in MERLOT.

Download a one-page User guide to resources here.

The project is titled Working from the Centre:  supporting unit/course co-ordinators to implement academic integrity policies, resources and scholarship.

The project builds on the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) work by Whitelaw and Henderson (2010) and the 2012 academic integrity standards project led by Tracey Bretag, however it goes much further and acknowledges the critical role of unit/course coordinators and places them at the centre of effective teaching and learning practices.
