ABPMP offers an independent, practitioner-oriented, international professional certification in Business Process Management. Learn how you can get certified.

We are proud to announce that our chapter has some of the first individuals in the country to obtain the CBPP (Certified Business Process Professional) certification.  

Attend Chapter meetings:

We have monthly chapter meetings featuring excellent speakers from the field. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month, beginning at 11:30 and lasting until 1:00. The meeting fee for ABPMP members is $5, $10 for non-members.

Your presenter is:
Joyce Wise 
Enterprise Business Architect, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama
 Vice President of Certification, ABPMP International

Joyce is an Enterprise Business Architect at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama.  She is currently working to strengthen BPM capabilities at Blue Cross improving data management and access.  Previously she was an independent business management consultant helping organizations improve their processes.


Joyce graduated Suma Cum Laude from Millsaps College with a Bachelor’s in computing where she was a charter member of Phi Beta Kappa.  She has a Master’s in Public and Private Management from Birmingham Southern College where she also helped attain accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and a charter chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma.


She is a charter member of the Birmingham Chapter of ABPMP and Vice President of Certification for ABPMP International.  She also serves as a representative for a local home owner’s association and is an active member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church.
