Cheltenham is a town located in the heart of the Cotswolds. Cheltenham is quite a well off town like most 'Spa Towns'.  It is within easy commuting distance of London and other major cities, making it a popular town with a population of about 110000.  It is famous for its award winning gardens, horse racing and its architecture - making it popular with tourists.





Places to visit in Cheltenham

Cheltenham racecourse is world renowned. They hold race meeting between October and April. The best known race
held at Cheltenham racecourse is the Cheltenham Gold Cup. This runs over St Patrick's day, and the town is often full of visitors from Ireland!


The Holst Birthplace Museum
is the original home of the composer Gustav Holst. The museam is set out as a regency home from the Victorian era.

The Promenade is one of the best streets to visit in Cheltenham. It has boutique shops, cafes, and beautiful architecture to admire!

The Imperial Gardens have been enjoyed by residents and visitors alike for nearly 200 years.

Pittville Pump Room and Pitville Park are well worth visiting. The park is outstandingly beautiful and hosts several music events throughout the summer months. The pump room is the reason Cheltenham is a spa town, with fresh spring waters pumped up from deep in the earth.

Cheltenham Town Hall hosts many events throughout the year, from classical music to cutting edge comedy.

The Everyman Theatre hosts a wide variety of live entertainment

The Daffodil Restaurant used to be an Art Deco Cinema. It has been lovingly restored and makes for a fabulous dining experience!

Le Champignon Sauvage is one of Cheltenham's top restaurants.

Brasserie Blanc is a top restaurant owned by world renowned chef Raymond Blanc.

The Brewery
is a converted old brewery, that includes places such as Nandos and Burger Burger.
