Abhishek Singh Senior Machine Learning Researcher About me I am a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Apple in the San Francisco Bay Area. I develop AI technologies to enhance and improve the mobile photos and photography experience on iOS and macOS. Before joining Apple, I was a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon Lab126 in the San Francisco Bay Area. I developed new computer vision and machine learning technologies for Amazon's devices such as the Echo Look, Echo Show and Cloud Cam. I obtained a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Feb 2015. I worked with Prof. Narendra Ahuja in the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. At the University of Illinois, I was the recipient of the Joan and Lalit Bahl Fellowship from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and a Fellowship from the Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) program, for interdisciplinary and computation oriented research. I earned a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida at Gainesville in 2010, where I worked with Prof. Jose C. Principe on neural networks and adaptive signal processing problems.
