ABOUT
I am healthcare professional with a strong background in leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, and is currently a Senior Manager in Global Biometrics and Data Sciences at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where I am also involved in the company's digital health initiative. I have a Ph.D. in Medical Image Analysis from Duke University and have gained expertise in a range of technology areas including software engineering, databases, web technology, big data analytics, computer vision, natural language processing, machine learning, deep learning, biostatistics, and medical images. My past research has focused on data, digital health, and drug development, with a particular emphasis on computational pathology, computational anatomy, single-molecule fluorescence barcoding, information extraction from medical reports, computer-aided diagnosis, and trial design in oncology.
My current and past research and development focus has been around 3Ds - Data, Digital health, and Drug Development. Originally trained in computer scientist, I focused on research and development around Data (data management and integration) for the first 5 years. Then I worked on Digital health for the next 7 years where I advanced artificial intelligence to solve challenging problems in health care. Since 2021, I have been focusing my work on drug development. I have authored 14 scientific papers and 10 abstracts in peer-reviewed conferences and journals. A complete list of my publications is included in my full CV.
