I received my doctorate in Economics from the University of Oxford and a BA (Hons.) in Economics from the University of Delhi. Before moving to SSE, I was based at the Department of Economics at UCL.
My research has been funded by the UK's FCDO, the Gates Foundation, the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC UK), the Asian Development Bank Institute and the Handelsbanken foundations.
