Garden Day 2015 Report and Pictures
We didn't have the best of summers this year but the rain mercifully stayed away on this early autumn Saturday. Not staying away were the many volunteers, members of the Society and the wider local community who turned out in force, with over 150 people coming along to the Williamson Hall for Garden Day. We'd like to thank everyone who donated plants, cakes, produce and bottles, everyone who helped out in the preparations (and the tidying up after). Thanks also for all the fabulous competition entries and last but not least thanks to everyone who came along and helped make Garden Day a success. The proceeds of the day amounted to over £700 which will soon be put to good use in the village on the various projects being under taken alongside Abernethy In Bloom.
