Christmas opening hours 2017

The Breastfeeding Centre and Victorian Branch office of the Australian Breastfeeding Association will be closed from 4pm Thursday 21st December and will reopen on Wednesday 10th January 2017 at 10am.

The Breastfeeding Centre drop in days will recommence on Wednesday 10th January 2017 between 10am and 2pm. Drop in days will continue to be held on Wednesdays during 2017.

If you have a breastfeeding concern or enquiry, please call the National Breastfeeding Helpline on 1800 686 268.

Melbourne Pregnancy Babies & Children’s Expo

Friday 16th – Sunday 18th October 2015

The Australian Breastfeeding Association will be at the Melbourne Pregnancy Babies & Children's Expo on the from Friday 16th October to Sunday 18th October 2015 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre South Wharf.  Come by Stand N42 to chat to one of our Breastfeeding Counsellors about our services, local group support, or if you have any breastfeeding questions. You can also book in for one of our Breastfeeding Education Classes on the day. Free tickets are available from the PBC Expo site here.

Pregnancy and Newborn Expo 7th & 8th February 2015

The Australian Breastfeeding Association will be at the special Pregnancy and Newborn Expo on the 7th and 8th February 2015 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre South Wharf.  Come by to chat to one of our Breastfeeding Counsellors about our services, local group support, or if you have any breastfeeding questions. You can also book in for one of our Breastfeeding Education Classes on the day. Free tickets are available from the PBC Expo site here.

Holiday Closure

The Victorian Branch Office and Breastfeeding Centre will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holiday period. We will be closed from Wednesday 24th December, and reopen on Tuesday 6th January.

For breastfeeding support during this period, please call the Breastfeeding Helpline on 1800 686 268 (1800 MUM 2 MUM), or members can use the Email Counselling service here. Breastfeeding support services may be available through your maternity hospital or Maternal and Child Health Centre - please contact them for further information.

Our website, www.breastfeeding.asn.au, also has a wide selection of articles on many breastfeeding problems and circumstances.

We wish all our visitors and members a safe and happy holiday season.
