What is ABATE?

ABATE is a motorcycle rights organization composed of motorcycle enthusiasts throughout the country. Putting motorcycle legislation in its proper perspective is our main concern. This is accomplished through safety education programs, public awareness programs and other proposals designed to prevent fatal or injury accidents.

ABATE stands for American Bikers Aimed Towards Education.
ABATE is a neutral organization that allows all riders of all motorcyles as well as non-motorcyclist to unite in a brotherhood to safeguard our rights and still be individuals with different views.
ABATE feels all motorcyclists are brothers and sisters with one common interest...Ridin' FREE!
ABATE works with motorcycle rights organizations across the country to stop unfair legislation aimed at the motorcyclist. We are not against helmets. We are against the forced-use helmet laws which is a blatant grab of our personal freedom. It puts all motorcycling in jeopardy.
ABATE sponsors and promotes safety, rider information, and motorcycle awareness campaigns for motorist (cage drivers), emphasizing accident prevention.
