Leg-brace Suppliers (for wannabes)

Many people with abasiophilia find it helpful to obtain leg-braces to wear, either in private in their own homes or even in public on occasions. There is nothing wrong with this if it helps you: your need may be a psychological one rather than a physical one, but you HAVE the need. From my research I can say with certainty that those who obtain braces for their own use find it helpful.

Metal sided ones that slot into the heels of shoes, either to support the ankles (AFO) or also the knees (KAFO). Also cosmetic calipers made to a plaster cast of the leg. These then fit inside shoes. They can be to support a drop foot, called a drop foot splint, or full length with knee joints.

The ankle ones are from £450 and the full length one from £1200. Prices are dependent on the sort of knee joints and finishes.
