STEM Programs

Science, Technology, Engineering, Math ==  STEM

Starting in fall 2016, we are presenting STEM Adventures, a small program of hands-on workshops for girls of grades 6,7,8 at the International Museum of Cultures. Parents and teachers are also welcome to sign-up. We have limited space, so everyone who attends must pay the registration fee: $10 per person or  options for groups to sign-up for tables of 6 at $50.  See the flyer / registration form Nov 12 STEM Registration.pdf  in the file list at bottom of this page.

The next session will be from 9:00 am (sign-in) to noon on Saturday   Nov 12.   The same topics will be presented as those from the Oct. 15 event:  "Electronics Magic" (by electronics engineer Jaime Hunter) and "Designing for Flight" (by Lockheed Martin engineer Candy Robinson). NOTE: The program will be held in the upstairs workrooms and there is no elevator. Photos from Oct. 15 are in the file Oct 15 STEM Photos.pdf
in the file list at bottom of this page.
