Electrical Specification

All these heaters can be connected to either 230V, 50Hz single-phase, or 400V, 50Hz 3-phase supplies.

 

They should be installed by a qualified person and in a domestic property all wiring should comply with BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations 17th Edition and The Building Regulations 2000, Part P.

 

Sauna heaters can sometimes trip residual current devices (RCDs). BS7671, Regulation 703.411.3.3 (page 179 BS7671, 2008) allows these heaters to be connected to NON-RCD circuits
