The Outlands' premier rapier schola, armored combat collegium, IKAC archery shoot and A&S University is finally here. Combine it with the most beautiful site in the kingdom, throw in reduced price trips to the hot springs, then add a swimming pond and flowing creek to the wooded camping area. Then remember you can let someone else prepare some of your meals.  How can you miss this event?

This is also the Battlemoor site. Come marvel at the level ground, good roads, open woods and clear meadows. All this is a few minutes from downtown Buena Vista.

Site Information & Directions:
The Big Meadow in Buena Vista, CO is a site to behold. It is a working ranch nestled along Cottonwood Creek. The primary camping area is underneath the cottonwoods for which the creek is named. We will have a central camp fire (fire restrictions permitting), but otherwise, assume the same rules the kingdom uses for Battlemoor. Classes will be held within walking distance of the camping area.

There is an active creek on the site, with most the camp sites being next to the creek. If you have have any other special accommodations, such as the desire to camp with a group, please contact the land coordinator as we will only reserve group space via pre-registrations. Anything else is on a first come, first served basis.

Camping Information & Site Restrictions
Please bring your own water,;currently there is no running potable water available on site.
Some local hotel alternatives are listed below if you wish to pre-plan a camping alternative. Reserve early!  Sept. 28/29 is one of the prime weekends for viewing the fall colors.  The hotels fill up!
Pets on leash or directly controlled allowed, but you must clean up after your pets. (Folks in long garb and good shoes or sandals will be most appreciative of this courtesy.)
Prepare for warm days and cool nights.
Each camp with a fire must have a fire extinguisher. Fire restrictions are subject to change at any time, but even so fires must be off ground and have an on/off switch.
Please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
The creek will be available for splashing but there are NO lifeguards. Parents are responsible for their children.

We can only accommodate camping trailers / RVs if they are prearranged. Also if you need hook ups, there are a number of camp grounds within 10 minutes of the site, but there are none on site.

Site is WET.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER!  Yes, there is a creek, but you really don't want to drink it.
