Sarah's photos of Luke
Luke's Memorial Video was put together by Aaron and was presented at Luke's funeral on April 23rd.
The following is an excerpt from Sarah's Eulogy given at the Garfield building on 4-23-2011
It would be a shame if I didn't talk just a little about Luke's chubby, squishy, soft cheeks. They were irresistible. I could honestly say that I probably kissed them hundreds of times. I couldn't help it, it was almost a compulsion. I simply HAD to. I loved placing his cheek to mine while I was holding him against my chest. And I couldn't help but blow raspberries on them. They were just that big and squishy. One of my girlfriends called him "Ole Chubby Cheeks." Tomorrow is Easter. I wanted to hold Luke's memorial today, the day before Easter for a very simple reason. On Easter Sunday tomorrow, when you hear the phrase, "He Lives!", know that they are not just speaking of Jesus Christ, but of my son. He is with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He is with my dad and Aaron's mother and all those that came before. He lives! And I will be with him once more, with the promise that I will be able to raise him and love him. I will always be Luke's Mommy. And nothing, not even death, can change that.
