Travel and Lodging

Travel:

Ohio Northern University is located in the village of Ada, Ohio, located a short distance from interstate 75 in northwest Ohio.

Air travel: the nearest airports to Ada, Ohio are Dayton International (DAY) and Toledo Express (TOL), both of which are around 75-85 miles from campus.  Detroit Metro (DTW) is also an option, though it is further away.  Since there is no shuttle or bus service between the airport and the ONU campus, renting a car is necessary to get to campus.  Once at the airport, follow the driving directions to campus (below).

Driving: For driving directions and maps, see the following webpage: http://www.onu.edu/about_onu/maps_and_directions

The Holiday Inn and Suites in Lima, Ohio (a 15-20 minute drive from campus) also have a special MAAR rate.  Reservations can be made by calling 419-879-4000 and mentioning the Midwest AAR.

  • $89.99 for a single or double room

Because many undergraduates participants do not have institutional funding to participate, conference organizers will attempt to match interested undergraduate students with students from the host institution for housing in dormitories. Space will be limited, however.  Interested undergraduates should contact Forrest Clingerman at f-clingerman@onu.edu no later than 1 March.
