CRA-W/CDC Discipline-Specific Mentoring Program on Autonomous Agents and MultiAgent Systems (AAMAS)

We proudly announce the CRA-W/CDC Discipline-specific Workshop to be held in conjunction with the prestigious Twelfth International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems (AAMAS). The main goal of this workshop is to increase participation of members of underrepresented groups in AAMAS by providing career mentoring advice and discipline-specific overviews of past accomplishments and future research directions.
This program will a series of planned technical, mentoring and community building sessions led by internationally known researchers at lunch/dinner times during the AAMAS conference. Technical sessions will include hot topics and future directions in several areas of software agent systems and their significance to solving real world problems. Mentoring sessions will focus on motivating and preparing students to become interested in and knowledgeable about the research and research paradigms of AAMAS.
Participation in this workshop requires conference registration, attending the doctoral mentoring consortium and three working meal sessions sponsored by CRA-W/CDC. Any student who is a US citizen or permanent resident studying at an US institution may apply to the workshop, but first priority will be given to women and underrepresented minority applicants. STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY FOR THE MENTORING PROGRAM WILL BE REIMBURSED CONFERENCE REGISTRATION AND ALL REASONABLE TRAVEL EXPENSES.
