African American Leadership Development and Recruitment Weekend
The African American Leadership Development and Recruitment (AALDR) weekend is an annual gathering sponsored by Mission to North America (MNA) that brings together current and prospective African American seminary students for a time of collaboration, fellowship, and encouragement.

Taking place over Labor Day Weekend, August 31-September 2, 2012, this year’s conference will address topics and issues pertaining to ministry by and among African Americans in a Reformed and Presbyterian context.  The weekend features a series of workshops from more than half a dozen speakers teaching in areas ranging from contextualizing Reformed theology in the African American community, to ministry to college students, to leading  in African American or multi-ethnic settings, and more.

Beyond teaching, the weekend will feature opportunities to connect with other like-minded African American Christians from across the country to learn about God’s work in their lives and ministries.  Thanks to partnerships between the PCA’s MNA African American Ministries, Redeemer Church Jackson, RTS Jackson and other seminaries, the conference is free of charge to participants.  Register now!
