Any family researcher will tell you that funeral programs are genealogy gold!  Funeral Programs have and will continue to be a key resource for any researcher interested in tracing their family’s history.

The African American Funeral Program Project (AAFP) is an initiative to help preserve local African American history while creating another resource for African Americans to trace their family history.

The goal for the Project is to collect and index 3,000 funeral programs to create the collection.

Will you help us reach our goal?
