November Dinner Meeting

On November 28th, the Southern California section met at a location near LAX airport to learn about how Artificial Intelligence is being used for the future of planning. Paul Self with InEight presented a case study of how historical information can easily be pulled together, cleansed and used to help determine realistic future schedules. He showed how software development tools, such as BASIS planning, can be utilized and how organizations are adopting and implementing AI techniques to quickly build plans. Using this new technology is enabling planners to focus on planning instead of scheduling. (Photo: (Right)Past President Phil Peterson is thanking Paul Self (Left) for his time and presentation)
