Before Learning (Default Hit Plan):

The robot can return slow topspin balls (without too much spin), but is unable to return any underspin balls.  The topspin balls it does return are hit very high and slow.






After Learning (GP-UCB + EBDA):

The robot can return topspin balls with much more spin and speed, and tends to keep the ball low and fast.  It can also return underspin balls.
