No Más Bebés por Vida: A documentary on sterilization of Mexican-origin women

Sneak preview of a film-in-progress about the contested history of nonconsensual sterilizations performed on Mexican-American women in a Los Angeles public hospital in the 1970s, the lawsuit that followed, and the legacy of sterilization abuse. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the film's director. Produced by Renee Tajima-Peña and Virginia Espino in association with the Independent Television Service and Latino Public Broadcasting.
