French Bee is a small airline, and the first french low-cost long-haul company. Just like its sister airline, Air Caraibes, it is owned by french Groupe Dubreuil. When it was founded in 2016, French Bee took over a part of Air Caraibes' A350 order and announced it would also lease an A350-900 from its parent company.
This all-new aircraft type - the second in the airline's fleet - will be a key factor for its success, along with the airline's A330-300. The first destination will be Reunion Island, near the island of Madagaskar.
With 440 seats on board, French Bee will have the A350 with most seats of all operators.
In the future, if BF's strategy turns out to be successful, there might be more A350 joining the airline's fleet.
