Asiana Airlines ordered 30 A350XWBs at the 2008 Farnborough Airshow plus 10 options. Asiana is the only airline that has all the A350 variants on order - from the smallest A350-800 to the stretched A350-1000. Nevertheless it is unlikely that the airline will ever operate all three types because the A350-800 will not be built. The A350-900 and A350-1000s will be the backbone of Asiana's long-haul fleet when all the aircraft will be delivered in 2020. The A350 should replace the 777-200ER aircraft as well as the B747s. The A350 will operate on routes to Europe and America from 2017 onward.

We think the A350 will fit OZ perfectly and is the ideal replacement for the aging 777-200 and B747s. Asiana could convert some options into firm orders in the future if the market continues to grow at this rate.
