Merkelbach wheel for sale

posted Apr 7, 2015, 8:16 AM by Spinners Flock   [ updated Apr 7, 2015, 8:17 AM ]

I have a spinning wheel that needs a new home and it is in good working order.
Looks like attached picture only the wood is darker.  Lois L. said that it was a reproduction of a 1870s Dutch model.  It came from the Netherlands and she called it a Merkelbach wheel.   Double drive I think they call it.

I would like $400 for it.  I have some nice wool that could go along with it.
Anyone who might be interested could email me.
