Myron is a talented and experienced woodcarver. He carved the wooden wings for sale on the table.

Myron gave an excellent presentation about the B-36 and KC-97 (and his time in service 1950-54) at the September 7, 2011 and November 16, 2011, Eighth AFHS-Mn Luncheons. Video available.
Myron has also shown his brother's Harold's P-47 gun camera footage to the group. His brother initially flew P-47s with one of the 8th AF's fighter groups and eventually transitioned to P-51 Mustangs.

Myron C. Asper, age 86, of Chaska, MN, died on Friday, Oct 16th, 2015 at his home. Celebration of life is on Friday, Oct 23rd, 2015, 10:30 am, time of sharing starting at 9:30 am, all at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 W. 3rd St, Chaska. Inurnment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Myron was born on June 18th, 1929 in Cresco, Iowa to Bennie and Maddie (Olson) Asper. He was one of many children.

He is preceded in death by his son, Michael and many brothers and sisters.

Survived by wife Gloria of 63 years, children; Timothy Asper of SD, Gregory Asper of Austin, MN, Lori Tieben of Chaska, Thomas Asper of LeCenter, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
