No, I certainly cannot find the right words Bev, but I am deeply sorry to learn of Dewey's death. While sadly, our meetings have been few since H.S., (only a time or two at reunions I guess),but I remember our "Kidhood"fondly! You knew, of course, that Dewey and I grew up next door to each other in the old Monte neighborhood, but did you know that in those early years we celebrated birthdays together? (mine is on 8/24) Because he was a year older, he always got to blow out the candles and get the first piece of cake! Bev, we understand how difficult the days ahead will be for you and your family and only can hope that our thoughs of you and our prayers for you will, in some small way, help. Tom Weisbrod

We were so very sorry to hear that Dewey was ill and then passed. He had so many friends at the Eighth Air Force Historical Society of Minnesota and we always enjoyed talking with him every week at the Wednesday luncheons. He was a very active member and he said he was looking forward to his trip to Alaska. He will be greatly missed by his many friends.
