OK, the wind is out of my sails. I've followed this Sacred Heart Diet/Cleanse thingy to a T and I've only lost 1 pound. According to the diet, by Day 4 "you should find that you have lost 5-7 pounds." UGH! I weighed myself three times this morning just to make sure. I was positive I had lost some weight yesterday. I'm frustrated to say the least but I'll keep going though and see where this takes me. I mean, I'm almost half way done so why not? Yesterday was a little painful but I got through it and most of the food I brought to work. The only things I didn't finish were my grapes and my zucchini. I even went to spinning last night and felt good afterwards. Today is bananas and milk and soup. Up to three bananas, all the skim milk I can drink and the soup, of course, the soup. I'll be at work all day and then will teach a yoga class tonight. Wish me luck. XO.

it's the end of the road for my 7-ish year weight loss journey. i started the whole thing weighing 225 pounds and my personal goal at that time was to lose 100 pounds. i have 10 pounds to go. and 30 days* in which to do it. i figured what better way to be serious about it than to do it under public scrutiny? and yeah, that's a super old and awesome vintage scale that lives under my sink...sorry it's kinda blurry/dark/dusty. i'm sure i'll take better photos of it in the next 29 days. :) wish me luck! *why 30 days? that's when i'll be forced to wear a bathing suit in public for the first time since last summer. seems as good a reason as any to drop the excess flab!
