IV. Pipe Band and Music

For the general public, the best source of pipe music that really is accurate to the period, we recommend:

Kilted Warriors:
An outstanding CD produced by Andy Redmond, throughly well researched. This is music of the 79th NY Highlanders from their time.

This is a great website, full of information.  Job well done!
An outstanding effort like this deserves support.

Our standard tunes include "Scotland the Brave" (admittedly a post-Civil War tune), "Amazing Grace," "The Rowan Tree," "Mairi's Wedding," "We're No Awa' to Bide Awa'," "Highland Laddie," and "Skye Boat Song."

On the next "sub pages" is information and sheet music, as a resource to our performing members.  We don't have tunes to listen to, as such.  We're working on that.
