  • A refrigerator is a cooling apparatus. The common household appliance (often called a "fridge" for short) comprises a thermally insulated compartment and a heat pump—chemical or mechanical means—to transfer heat from it to the external environment (i.e.
  • Refrigerator was an Appendix Quarter horse racehorse who won the Champions of Champions race three times. He was a 1988 bay gelding sired by Rare Jet and out of Native Parr. Rare Jet was a grandson of Easy Jet and also a double descendant of both Depth Charge (TB) and Three Bars (TB).
  • An appliance or compartment that is artificially kept cool and used to store food and drink. Modern refrigerators generally make use of the cooling effect produced when a volatile liquid is forced to evaporate in a sealed system in which it can be condensed back to liquid outside the refrigerator

Design and Cost-Benefit Analysis of a Mini Thermo-Acoustic Refrigerator Driver
This is a NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL MONTEREY CA report procured by the Pentagon and made available for public release. It has been reproduced in the best form available to the Pentagon. It is not spiral-bound, but rather assembled with Velobinding in a soft, white linen cover. The Storming Media report number is A532483. The abstract provided by the Pentagon follows: A miniature thermoacoustic refrigerator is being developed for the purpose of cooling integrated circuits below their failure temperature when used in hot environments. This thesis describes the development of an electrically powered acoustic driver that powers the thermoacoustic refrigerator. The driver utilizes a flexural tri-laminar piezoelectric disk to generate one to two Watts of acoustic power at 4 kHz in 15 bar of He-Kr gas mixture. This thesis also provides a cost analysis of the mini TAR and a comparison with other cooling methods in terms of cost and benefits. It estimates the unit cost of a Mini TAR and compares it with other existing microchip coolers in terms of cost and benefits.

I work for Luv My Pet doing low cost vaccinations for dogs and cats at Petcos and Petlands and I saw Scrappy in Petco in Manhattan when I was working. He was up for adoption though Zani's Furry Friends and I had to take him home. I was told he was eight years old and has many health problems. He has a heart murmur that was never taken care of, a bad hip from having surgery when he was born, is going deaf and has really bad cataracts. He also only understands Spanish. He was also covered in mats from head to tail. I knew no one would take him because he is a senior with a lot of health issues and he would end up being euthanized. I had to help him. I took him home and I cut all of his hair off myself and trimmed his nails. It took me a week to get all of the mats off of him and when I bathed him, my tub turned brown. I was crying from seeing such a helpless dog so neglected. Upon my trip to the vet with him, I was told he is more like nine or ten years old and the vet said Scrappy will live only another two to five years because the previous owner had never taken care of his heart condition. However, it would be too late to give him any medication for his heart condition now so late in his life it could kill him. I was also told he will go deaf and/or blind soon and keep a close on eye him because he could go senile at any time. I cried at work I was so upset. Also, after about a month of having him, I noticed he usually drinks all of the water out of his bowl every time it is filled up: a sign that he is diabetic. He also would not bark. It too me a month to get him to bark and when he does his ears go down which makes me think someone abused him. He would also urinate and defecate on my floor for a while and he had to be retrained to go outside. I am guessing whoever had him would let him go to the bathroom wherever he wanted to in their house. I am doing my best to make sure his senior years will be the best. He is a little weird but he has such a personality. He likes to sleep with his face on the side of my refrigerator. I was told by a family member he might be doing that because he could be a puppy mill dog. Those places make a lot of dogs sleep crampt together in one cage in inhumane conditions and Scrappy might still be used to it. This dog has been through the ends of the Earth and back again. I just hope he has a better life now.
