Superba-White Garter Lace Transfer Carriage #06B: Transfer Position for Later Models
On later models of Superba Knitting Machines, the 1/4 Pitch Transfer setting was moved to the Intermediary Lever on the left front the machine. This photo shows the Transfer position. The symbol represents the Transfer Carriage. To move this, push the lever and the Racking Handle together which will make the Front Bed shift a 1/4 pitch. You will have to adjust the position of the Front Bed again by moving the Racking Handle so that the needles are aligned properly. This allows the Front Bed needles to come up on the right side of the Back Bed needles, making the transfer of stitches possible. See next photo.
