About Us

Founded by our team manager, Rich Vincent, in 2010, 7220 Racing Speed Goats is a team of Laramie high school students who are pursuing the lifelong sport of mountain biking. The team participates in races and events in southeast Wyoming as well as traveling down to Colorado to race in the Colorado National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) League. The team holds regular practices in the "Schoolyard" (state section east of town), at Happy Jack Recreation Area, and Curt Gowdy State Park. Our official race season is in the fall, from August until mid-October.  During this time team members spend three days a week practicing on our local trails and spend every other weekend racing.  Our generous sponsors Laramie BikeNet, Cycle Wyoming, and the Colorado League Scholarships have allowed students from various economic backgrounds to participate on our team.  In the offseason riders participate in skills camps, and fun rides, while also giving back to the community by volunteering at events like the Laramie Enduro.  We welcome all levels of riders to our team, from hardcore racers to those who are just learning to ride.

Come ride with us!
