¡Buenos días 7mo grado!
Good morning 7th grade! We are coming up to the ending of
this school year. Time has really flown by! We have a unit test on U2E2, Thursday
(4/3) and Friday (4/4) and our next unit
will be Unidad 2 Etapa 3 (U2E3). Have a wonderful, safe, Spring Break!
students! We are starting fresh with a
new semester and are working towards finishing the year successfully! Seventh graders are reviewing the previous chapter
in preparation for their unit test on Wednesday, January
15th. Please have
your student review Unidad 1 Etapa 3. The
vocabulary is on page 93 of the text book but the chapter includes four grammar
points/boxes that will be on the test.
also have their first writing PBA of the semester on Friday, January 17th. They should be able to describe their family
and/or another family using the information from this chapter as well as
your student review daily for these assessments in preparation for the exams
and thank you for your support !

The 7th graders are preparing for their midterm exam daily. Their calendar is very busy. The vocabulary quiz is tomorrow
for Unidad 1 Etapa 3, please have the students review p.93 of the textbook. On Thursday, they are having their third speaking PBA. Students should be reviewing the vocabulary for family and descriptions/personalities/clothing in preparation for this assessment.
The following Monday, Dec. 16
students will have a quick quiz on the verb "Tener"
and it's conjugation. They will need to review their practice packet for this quiz. On Wednesday, Dec. 18th, student's will have their Mid-Term exam.

Tomorrow December 5th, seventh graders have a speaking PBA. I will record them speaking Spanish for one minute using descriptions. This assessment is taken in the Language Lab A175. Please have the students review for this assessment. Also, we have started a new Chapter, Unidad 1 Etapa 3, on Family. Their vocabulary (p.93) quiz is next Tuesday on December 10th.
There is still much learning and practicing occurring in Spanish class in preparation for the Midterm exam. Please have your student study daily for a few minutes for this assessment because it includes all the previous chapters (Unidad 1, Etapa 1,2 y 3). ¡Gracias!
The 7th graders are working on their new chapter. This one includes clothing, definate and indefinate articles and descriptions. They are preparing for an "Articles" quiz on Friday. Please have the students review all the new grammar points! ¡Gracias!
The seventh graders are working on Unidad 1 Etapa 1. The unit test is on October 9th. Please have your student use classzone.com in preparation for this assessment. They will need to be able to conjugate the verb "Ser" using the proper pronoun.

The second part of the final is now scheduled for Tuesday, May 21st. It is the multiple choice portion of the test. ¡Buena Suerte Estudiantes!
We are finishing up with Seventh grade Spanish. Students still have lots to learn, review and practice in preparation for Spanish in eight grade.
Tomorrow, April 30th is the Chapter test for Unidad 2 Etapa 3. Wednesday, May 1st is the written PBA for this chapter. Students should be able to write in twenty minutes all about activities they do
during and after school in Spanish
. It is a written PBA as oppose to a Speaking one.
The Final is May 10th for the speaking and written
PBA part of the Final Test. On May 23rd, the students will take the multiple choice portion of the Final.
** Please have your student study/practice Spanish daily in preparation for these exams.**
