1.  "Boom Boom Pow" by Black Eyed Peas

The popular song "Boom Boom Pow" is a great song that I would recommend to about every genre lover. I really like this song because it has a fun beat and great lyrics that I cannot forget. I put it on my playlist of best songs of 2009 because I like it, and it was one of the nation's top songs of the year. Sure, sometimes it gets old being played 5 different times every hour on 3 different radio stations, but it is still great. Altogether," I think the song "Boom Boom Pow" is very good.

2.  "Fireflies" by Owl City

"Fireflies" is softer than most songs, but is just as likable. This new, and quickly popular song is by Owl City. Owl City was not a known band until they made this great song. Like most people, I know almost every word to the song. The lyrics are easy to remember so most people enjoy singing along with it if it is on the radio or on their iPod. "Fireflies" did make the top ten songs on iTunes for about two months in a row but then it got kicked off. All in all, "Fireflies" is a good song loved by many people.

3.  "Hey Soul Sister" by Train

"Hey Soul Sister" is a favorite of mine and should be a favorite to others. I think it is a favorite of people because it is easy to remember the words and has great lyrics. Also, it is an exciting band and type of music to listen to. I really love to sing it whenever it comes on the radio or I play it on my computer. It has fun words and a good meaning. This is why everyone should love the song "Hey Soul Sister".

4.  "I Gotta Feelin" by Black Eyed Peas

The electric and up-beat song, "I Gotta Feelin" is one of my favorite fast songs. I like this song and added it to my playlist because again, people love to sing it and I love to also. "I Gotta feelin" was on the top ten iTunes songs in the nation for about a month in 2009. All of the kids my age, in lower school, and middle school really love the song more than people in high school or grown ups. Altogether, the song "I Gotta Feelin" made it to my playlist because of multiple reasons.

5.  "Run This Town" Jay-Z

Most people really like the song "Run This Town" for a couple of reasons. One of the reasons is that it is fun to sing and hum. Another reason for people is that it a lot of people get pumped up from the song for a sports game or inspiration to do something well. I like the song for both reasons also. It fits into my playlist because one, I really like it. And two, many people around the world like to sing it for fun. The song "Run This Town" by The Black Eyed Peas is great for a couple of reasons.

6.  "Human" by The Killers

"Human" is one of my favorite songs for different reasons than other favorite songs of mine. One of the reasons is not the lyrics or the background music, but how the Killers sing the song. They sing it like no other song they have made or anyone else has made. It has a weird tune in the lyrics, but frankly, I like it. Whenever the song comes on, just like other people, I start singing it because I love the song. Altogether, "Human" by the Killers is a great song for an unusual reason.

7.  "Ridin Solo" by Jason Derulo

The song "Ridin Solo" is probably my favorite song out of all my favorites. It is so good in my mind because it is consistent throughout the song at being exciting. I love the lyrics, the background music, the singer, the tone, and everything else. It all fits perfectly together. If anything that had to be called "bad" in the song is that it is a little too long. All in All, the song "Ridin Solo" is great and my favorite for many reasons above.

8.  "Watcha Say" by Jason Derulo
The song "Watcha Say" by Jason Derulo is good and exiting for many reasons. One, is that it is exiting like his other song all the way till the end. Also, it has someone featuring in it, so you can here background music. One more good thing, is that it uses great beats and background sounds. Altogether, the song "Watcha Say" is a popular song around the country for good, different reasons.

9.  "Viva la vida" by Coldplay

"Viva la Vida" by Coldplay is a good, and creative song to listen to. I think this song, out of all the other songs on my playlist is the hardest to sing to because I can not understand some of the words they are saying. Even though I don't know all the words, I really like this song, and would recommend it to anyone who likes music. I like the song mostly for it's sound, and how they say the words (that I don't know). This is why I think the song "Viva la Vida" is very good.

10. "You Found Me" by Coldplay

The song "You Found Me" is an interesting song with great lyrics. It is such a weird song because it is about a person who needed God right away, and God would not talk to him. The person who needed God, never left his house so he was sure never to miss a call on the phone from God. One day, the person went out, and found God smoking and asked him why he did not call. I love this plot because it is different and unusual. This is why I love the song "You Found Me".
