Proof Of Concept: Machineless Whell Mount
What I mean by machineless here is that I don't have access to a metal machine shop or equipment, so I figured I could mount these wheels using the rubber paper feeders that were originally on this steel rod. I sanded them down slightly to make them easier to fit where the bearings once were in this Razor Scooter wheel. I found that I could quickly sand these down and cut them by bolting it onto my electric drill, placing the drill in the vise and holding sandpaper around it. There probably is a better way but it worked. I then took the two rubber pieces and pressured them into the wheel by clamping in the vise. This was just a trial run so when I do this for real, there will be just enough space for the two rubber cores, two washers, and two wheel bearings.
