Thanks to all the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who represented our Group at the War Memorial on Muster Green on Sunday. This is a regular, important event for the Scout Association and our Group, where we join with all the other Groups from Haywards Heath to remember those who gave their lives to ensure our peace.
Here are the photos.
Well done to our Cub Raft Team of Isaac, Oliver, Hugo and Matthew for an excellent display of raft building and paddling. Our team came second in the races.

Here are some photo's from the event.
What a fantastic Camp! Thanks to everyone that helped especially the Leaders; Liam, Fred, Dale, James and parent Debbie, for what I'm sure you will agree was a great camp. The weather was kind this weekend and although tired all the kids had a great time doing Zip Wire, Canoeing, Kayaking and abseiling, I'm sure.
Special thanks must go to Liam, Dale and Fred who organised, shopped and managed the Camp.........and to Jess for her singing!
Here are some photos. If you have some more please send them to me (Michael).
This week the Beavers in keeping with their name went 'Dam Building', supported by several enthusiastic parents. Everyone have a lovely time in the water and mud (parents too). The end result was 4 very stylish dams. In the final judgement Niamh and her team of Beavers had the (slightly) most stylish!
Then back home to tip water out of wellies and wash the mud off.

On 14th May, Our Beavers along with 315 West Sussex Beavers Scouts and their leaders descended upon Fishers Farm to celebrate 30 years of Beaver Scouting. They had a fantastic day with their own magic and farm shows. Lots of fun was had on tractor rides, climbing walls, jumping pillows, donut run, barrel rides, pirate boats and they even panned for gold!
Badges the Beaver came and joined in the fun and managed not to scare all the farm animals. At the end of the day we all met to sing Happy Birthday and to share some treats. As one of the Beavers said “it was the best day ever”.
Thanks to all the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Leaders and Parents who joined us in Victoria Park for this year's St Georges Day Celebrations.
The weather stayed dry enough to allow the Parade to form up in Marks and Spencer's car park and march with their Section Flags at the head of each section, to Victoria Park, where District Commissioner lead the Celebration.
Here's some photos of the event.
