We have affordable housing for rent close to the University of Jordan East Entrance, walking distance 10 minutes away  - also walking distance from the German Jordanian University. We are not real estate agents. This is the family villa and we are renting out studios in its ground floor.

There are 6 studios (single bedroom apartments) altogether in the ground floor of the villa – we rent out 5 of them. Each studio has its separate entrance. Studios are usually rented out to international students and/or working professionals. Usually our studios are rented out in advance and over the internet before the tenant(s) arrives in Jordan. Close by to the villa, around 200 meters or less, there are several stores: supermarket, butcher, bakery, groceries, laundry, gym, hummus & falafel restaurant, hairdresser, barber, etc. There is public transportation to almost anywhere in Amman by the University of Jordan main entrance. There is also a bus stop close to the villa. 

COST & AVAILABILITY

Studios are rented out on a first come first serve basis. Priority is given to responsible tenants who lease for a longer duration. 

For each studio there is a security deposit of 250JOD. Rent differs depending on the studio. The following table shows monthly rent and availability for each of the 5 studios: 

UTILITIES

Rent, just covers rent. You will be required to pay for utilities:

• Water: water is a flat 10JOD monthly (per person) - possible to increase in summer months. 

• Electric: you will need to pay for your Electric use. Electric would range depending on your use. Tenants' monthly electric bill differ and the average in summer-time would probably be 10JOD-20JOD depending on use. 

• Gas: each studio comes with 2 gas bottles; one for the stove (burner), the other to be used with the heater for winter-time. Tenant is responsible for re-filling the gas bottles - a TEL # for a gas supplier, that delivers to your doorstep, can be provided. Gas bottle refill price was 8.75 JOD – as of 1/15 (price could change depending on government pricing – plus or minus 2JOD).

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH EACH STUDIO

Each studio has a fridge, stove, washing machine, kitchen utensils and bed linen, microwave (not all studios).

• Heating is via a gas heater (turn ON/OFF as needed)

• Hot water is via an electric hot water heater (switch ON/OFF as needed)

• Shared terrace & outdoor barbeque

• This apartment is within a villa, i.e. very quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors
