Day 119 15-Month Checkup
I'm so excited now to be able to leisurely take Carter to the doctor while Maggie is at school, but I was still rushing around today. That's because I thought I'd have time to stop by Babies R Us to stock up on the kids' disposable diapers for our upcoming camping trip. I know, I know, I try to be a good model of cloth diapering, but let's just say that without a diaper sprayer while we're on vacation, it's just too much of a mess. At least I buy the ones that impact the environment the least, but now it seems the store is not stocking them anymore. Hopefully they'll still be available online at Target. Anyway, on to the doctor. Carter didn't want anything to do with anyone who needed to measure, examine, and of course, stick him with a needle. He kept trying to get out the door whenever he was on the floor, and he screamed bloody murder every time he had to go on the exam table, even when it was just me changing his diaper! Poor baby! I can't wait for his 18-month checkup!

I made my first cloth diaper today, this one is called a "quick snap flap wrap". It is a free pattern I found online and it was super easy and is super cute. I may just have to make a few for Carter even though he has plenty in stock. These are for Heather's new little one!
