 Student Seminar 2007

Forest Club, Laguna

September 19, 20 & 21

Paref Southridge School

Grade 5 Level

September 10, 2007

Dear Grade 5 Parents,

The Student Seminar is one of the most highly anticipated batch activities for the school year. It is where students are provided with an opportunity to apply the values and skills they have learned in school.

The venue for this year’s Grade 5 Student Seminar, to be held on September 19 to 21, 2007, is Forest Club Conference Center and Botanical Gardens, a nature sanctuary and eco-friendly conference center in Laguna. Because of the very good experience we had last year in the same place, the Committee has agreed to make it the permanent venue for the Grade 5 Student Seminar.

This promises to be a challenging and informative event for the students. Activities such as survival games, teambuilding adventure competitions, and the obstacle course are just a few of the many excitements they can look forward to. The Forest Club will also provide us with professional facilitators who will conduct various activities during our stay. The Grade 5 advisers and two other subject teachers with the school nurse will be on hand to insure safety in these activities. The talks for personal growth and film showing will insure that the student’s personal formation would also be addressed.

The amount of P3,000 will be collected from each participant. Payments have to be in by September 14, 2007. This reasonable fee covers the accommodations, food, prizes, and miscellaneous expenses. The said price also includes 2 buses that will bring the students to and from the venue. A buffet for every major meal and giveaways for every student are also included.

We shall send you follow up letters about the seminar from time to time. Thank you for your support in this highly anticipated activity as we look forward to its success.
