Many things led me to this subject and field. I originally was working on an ambulance as an EMT. Health science and science in general, has always been a subject I was excited about. Being able to utilize those subjects in helping others helped my professional growth and became the ultimate reason for my transition into teaching. While working on the ambulance, I supplemented my income by working as a substitute teacher. After spending some time working as a substitute, I had realized that not only did I have the ability to help the future leaders of our country, but to engage in science topics that I was passionate about. A semester later, I transitioned to substituting nearly full-time and applied to the credential program here at CSUN for my credential in Foundational Science. With this credential, I would like to teach the different sciences to middle school students.
When I am not studying for a test or in the classroom, the majority of my time is pent with my family and trying new and exciting things with my girlfriend. I like to go hiking when I have the time, and fly remote controlled helicopters. I like exercise and fitness so I try to get to the gym as often as I can as well. I like organizing an online video game session with close friends who I don't get to see often because they are across the country. I also like to watch movies and seem to have developed some sort of movie trivia skills. I'm interested in computer technology (hardware, software, building, fixing, etc.) and my favorite sport is Baseball.
