When I started teaching, I did so as a volunteer from the advice of the principal of a nursing school in Michoacán, México.  While I did not immediately have a natural love for teaching, I found it interesting and challenging.  As time went on, the more I taught, the more I enjoyed it.

At first I was a very traditional, instructor-centered teacher, but now I have challenged myself to consistently have dynamic games and activities centered around the students that promote and maintain student interest in every class I teach.  This has led me to become more interested in education as a whole.

I am currently interested in first and second language acquisition and bringing more learning and practice to the classroom setting as opposed to students spending much of their time on homework.  My teaching career involves teaching languages to those from middle school to adult.
