Halloween entertainment choices . Click the link to see more on this book

Below you will find a list I have compiled of Horror/Suspense/ Thriller or Mystery movies and tv shows which I have enjoyed over
the years. Good or bad in your opinion, they were all very memorable to me -) The list is a combination of films, made for television movies, and scary tv shows of days gone by. Some titles are in black and white, (but don't let that scare you off:- for example, Dead of Night, Horror Hotel, and The Black Cat are still 3 very worthwhile horror films despite being without color).(Some of these may seem outdated, oryou may feel the acting styles are a bit over the top - in this computer age, but give them a chance) Some will be Very difficult to locate, but the majority of them are available through Netflix, and you will surprisingly find many of the older titles & tv shows on youtube) You can read detailed descriptions of most of these choices on IMDB.
I hope you enjoy my selections. Feel free to fb or tweet me:{@trinissechanel} OR comment BELOW about my choices.

Now horror lovers, I need your input- there's a very old horror movie I have been trying to identify for most of my life. It was probably made before 1969.  In the forties fifities or sixties. I think it was in color. All I can remember was it starred a black haired mustachioed man who appeared wealthy, and then a fire breaks out during the movie revealing a crazy woman with white straggly long hair who was kept caged up, and I think the man had a lady love who did not know about this hag woman. He also had a male servant (who may have been Oriental) that used to stand with his arms folded (like hands inside his opposing shirtsleeves), if you have any idea what this movie is called, PLEASE TELL ME!!! ....    THANK YOU

Recommended to me, but I have yet to see:

                       Kill Baby, Kill
                                        Night of the Demon
                                        The Night of the Hunter
                                        The Old Dark House
                                        The Orphanage
                                        V/H/S/ (2011)

Just for Halloween fun  :

You can turn off all the lights, cuddle under the covers and imagine you are back in time on October 30 1938 and listening to the RADIO - where a broadcast has you convinced that aliens have landed on Earth and a horrific and frightening Martian Invasion is in progress (-play a recording of Orson Welles' 'War of the Worlds' radio program)

Listen to recordings of Edgar Allan Poe's stories read aloud -such as Christopher Walken reads "The Raven",  Or Vincent Price reading THE TELL TALE HEART- both on you tube)
