Silent unconventional halloween day up in the lonelyness of this magnificent scenery. Haven't visited my "secret place" in a while but everything was perfect, the cold air on your face, the dim light filtering through the deep clouds and the incredible bright orange grass. The quietness and stillness makes you feel like time froze. Just need to escape sometimes, just need to feel small. Editing: - General sky clean up from sensor dust. - Use of gradient filter in camera raw to bring out definition in the sky. - Selective editing via curves and layer masks to adjust brightness and saturation. - Slight use of the dodge tool for some extra punch.
ThinkTankPhoto Airport Ultralight v2.5
This is a composite image of my airport ultralight v2.5 in a pelican 1500. Bag fits in there pretty much perfectly, although it's not easy to close. Of course it didn't help that I went ahead and put my macbook air in the outer pocket and still closed it, they warn you to remove any laptop before closing. W/o it in there it closes VERY easily. There's enough extra space outside the bag for 2 magazines (slightly folded) and the waist strap. Check my blog for a full review in the next week or so.
