The choice is clear, but just in case it isn't: you want the one on the left. The XL was Ford's answer to the Impala SS. Someday, when I'm old(er) and gray(er), battery packs will be small and light enough that there can be hybrid versions of big, V8 American cars like this, that can putter around town or glide down the expressway on battery power, and can wake up and roar when you want to lay down some serious rubber with the V8. Oh, my. Was that politically incorrect? Too bad.
