Tiger Tiger, Burning Bright!
Tiger Tiger, Burning Bright!
Its quite amazing (but understandable) the amazing cross cultural references you get to the tiger. In the Hindu religion, the God Shiva rides a tiger and wears a tiger skin for his role as destroyer. In the Buddhist religion, followers of Buddha ride tigers to show their supernatural ability to overcome evil. The followers of Islam, (in many places) believe tigers punish sinners for Allah. Even as the Chinese dragon combats the Indian elephant, both the nations remain in awe of the powerful animal. (both however have a terrible record of hunting them down to near extinction)
