How to use this site:
  • Discussions: This area is for educators to ask questions, get feedback, and collaborate on how to teach world languages. You can post under "Discussions" for general comments, or under a specific language discussion.
  • Resources: Here is where educators can share resources, such as assessments, oral activities, cultural activities, and grammar activities. You can post and search by language and level, or more generally.
  • Committees: Committee members can post their meeting minutes and ideas here. Others can see what's happening in the committees.
  • Conferences: Current and past conference information and resources are posted here.
  • Other: There are several other resources on this website, such as membership information, a list honoring the teachers of the year, and upcoming events.

  • Call for Proposal Call for proposal:The Program Committee seeks submissionsfrom middle school, high school, and university teachers for breakout sessions. Presentations on the conference theme are encouraged,including presentations that highlight teaching successes in world languages, describe program assessment and curriculum development efforts, or show how a focus on quality (through instructional units or activities) promotes student achievement in the classroom.
