Bookcase and blue dresser
Mom painted the blue dresser herself, which includes a mountain sunset scene on the door. More pictures of the kids are on top of that, though we haven't figured out what's going where. The bookcase is full of dad's books mostly; mom's are in another bookcase. We moved the kitchen table to the living room and set it up as a computer desk. The drop cloth under the table is protecting our new rug from L.L. Bean which measures 8 feet by 11 feet. Behind the table, the floor is unfinished in the bay window part of the room. It's far from level in places, so dad's still trying to figure out how to fix that before he puts in the wood floor there.
the upstairs rec room
We still aren't finished with this area yet, no furniture in. We are also looking to find a room divider to block off the laundry area, a rug for the hard wood and a big chair for the corner. My biggest regret is not taking before pictures of all of this, the biggest change was in this room and the bathroom. All of the rec room/laundry area was wood paneling, and the bathroom was a very unfinished bathroom (ie no paint, no cocking, an old 70's style door and flooring that was coming up).
