Event Refund Policy

posted Mar 28, 2018, 12:18 PM by Steve Matheson

With lots of camps coming up, it is important that we make clear our policy on refunds should a Scout cancel.

The short answer is "it depends".  We will do what can to refund what we can, but generally this will not be the majority of the event fee.

Please read our policy here:  3EP Event Refund Policy

When it comes time to decide to skip a camp, such as for illness, please keep in mind the health, safety, and enjoyment of your Scout and the rest of the group rather than the financial implication.  (No sick kids at camp, please!)

Who Wants Chocolate?

posted Mar 5, 2018, 4:44 PM by Steve Matheson

As follow up to the previous notice: Chocolate Bars 2018 ...
Several people have been asking for additional boxes, so we will be putting in an additional order.  So glad to hear that sales are going well!

So, please email Steve with the number of additional boxes you would like to sell.  Please make contact by Friday, when the additional order will be placed.

When you sell a box, please turn in the envelope with $60, plus any donations (yup, it happens!), with your Scout's name clearly printed on it, to a Scouter during a meeting.

Thanks all!

Chocolate Bars 2018

posted Feb 22, 2018, 11:56 AM by Steve Matheson

Boxes for this year's Chocolate Bar campaign will be distributed at the next meeting.

Each bar sells for $2.

Each box of 30 bars includes:
  • 10 Chocolate Covered Almonds
  •  5  Caramel Bars
  •  5  Milk & Almond Bars
  •  5  Crisp Bars
  •  5  Caramel Whirls
An envelope for money collection is included under the bars. A box should raise $60 in revenue, which provides $12 of funraising credit and $13.50 for the group.

Please aim to sell by March Break if possible, so we can determine how to conclude the campaign before Easter.

We have switched suppliers for cost and product availability reasons.   We have a modest order in place, with enough boxes for each youth member, or family, to sell 1 box each.  More can be ordered, but only if there is sufficient interest.

Note:  Changes are coming to how we communicate.  Future notices will be coming from  Some trial messages have already been sent.  Look for more in the future.
